Horse Inn in Lancaster

A fantastic gem in Lancaster city. The service was fantastic, the food even better, and the atmosphere was nostalgic. Established in 1920, the old artwork and jazz harkened back to that era. The food was frsh and innovative. Anyone going there MUST try the burger. It's perfect. Shout out to the wings and fried green tomatoes as well.

Amazing as always. Burger, Horse Fries, Wings, Manhattan on the rocks, homemade ice cream. Unbelievable. Plus, great Covid preparation too.

Hands down my favorite place in lancaster co., and easily a top 3 restaurant/bar in the tri county area. My wife and I have been here dozens of times over the years and never once had a bad experience always top notch, I would go for any of there specialty cocktails and then order multiple things off the menu because everything is fantastic, if i was to pick a favorite over the years i would say bone marrow app, the horse burger or fried tomato sandwich for lunch or a light dinner and one of the best shrimp and grits dishes ever. A MUST STOP!!! and to the owners thank you for years of good times, only thing i would ask is please bring back the Divine Sage cocktail, it is an all-time favorite

Their signature fries are amazing. Fantastic mixologists! The live Jazz music was wonderful! Staff is very friendly!

We love the Horse Inn and its a place we commonly have in our rotation of restaurants we dine at. On Saturday's they have live music and its absolutely worth the wait to go and listen and eat delicious food to. Last night we ordered curb side and the service was both friendly and quick! Can't recommend this place enough! (I love the vegetable fried freekeh)

We've been to a lot of restaurants in Lancaster all have been delicious but this is the only one that makes us fiend to come back. The enviroment, the vibe, $2 mystery beers and the food is always absolutely amazing. The horse fries are amazing the wings are always delicious and we always manage to have room for the super rich chocolate mousse. This past time I had the shrimp and grits and the tips n toast and they shocked me all over again.

This is probably the best restaurant in Lancaster county. They food is all incredible, but the burger is where it's at. The burger is so good it will literally change your perception of what a burger should be. The cocktails are great, the bar staff does a good job crafting original drinks and mixing up the classics. The atmosphere is also pretty cool. They don't take reservations and it is usually crowded, but it is worth the wait. Don't horse around, try this place out!

Very nice atmosphere, friendly staff, taking covid seriously. However $12 mixed drink specialtys do not justify the location. Food was very fresh. Had the horse fries as an app and they were full of flavor and portioned appropriately for two. Shrimp and grits, had good texture but low on flavor. The spicy chicken sandwich was good but the combo of slaw and the Nashville hot didn't add up to what you would think for a southern dish. Lacked flavor punch that the south normally gives you. Overall good place for a date night but not a best in class for me.

Excellent time. Gnocchi was delicious. Can't wait to go back. Our waitress Taylor was awesome

Great dinner experience Friday evening!I will forewarn the older generation they don't give out paper menus you have to scan the code on the table with your phone for their menu and take your temp at the door when arriving - which I thought both were a little silly 😅 Hey but that's the world we live in these days. Cocktails were delicious and the tips and toast was amazing!
